This is one of my favorite times of the year. New life begins, warmer weather occurs and the days are longer. I feel so much better both mentally and physically. Winter has some nice things about it but the best thing is when it is over! Spring reminds us of new beginnings. Things that became dormant are waking up. Baby birds, squirrels and other creatures start to make their presence known. I don’t know about you, but we start to crave fresh veggies and fruits that will be available soon at local farmer’s markets. The weather allows fun activities and events to be held outdoors. Windows can be left open to air out the house that has remained closed all winter. And the smell of fresh cut grass fills the air (especially the wild onions). These are the things that make me happy. That make me remember how precious life is and how quickly it flies by. It is already spring and I know we just celebrated Christmas!
So with these new beginnings all around us I start to think about new goals. Maybe even new beginnings. What can I do to better myself? One thing I really want to work on is my health. I am decently healthy but my eating habits are not the best. I know it plays a huge factor on how I feel and how I perform daily. It effects my running and how I feel during. I take daily supplements that I do believe in and know can help. I have recently added CBD oil to my daily routine and already feel better mentally. Oh and I swear by beet juice! But I even slack on these things. So if I know things make me feel better why don’t I consistently do them? Because it’s easier sometimes to just not do anything. Not to take the time to eat right, or take your supplements or do whatever it is that makes you have a better quality of life.
I am interested in trying to improve my quality of life and would love to help you as well. Accountability is an important factor to reaching any goals. Yes we can accomplish goals on our own but having someone to help us along the way can really make a difference. You are more likely to continue to work towards your progress and reach your goal and stay there if you have someone helping you along the way. They may be even after the same goals as you.
